It started this fall. I was shredding stalks one night, and I guess the only reason I noticed it was when I got out to move a truck. It was really noticeable at dark. Under a load it went away, according to an observer.
I guess water is a possibility, but I don't have any in the water seperator on the combine, and that uses way more fuel. I'm also not running ULSD.
