Dallas, South Dakota | Brother in-law is contemplating buying a JD 4440 with the hydraulic front wheel assisst. I think I have read where these front ends are not very reliable. Just looking for someone who has some experience with these to advise him one way or the other. Also any other good/bad points of these tractors. We live in South Dakota and the winters can be quite frigid sometimes and this would be his feeding tractor so also just curious about the cold starting characteristics. Tractor has about 8,000.00 hours. I'm not familiar at all with green. I am a red power fan.
