As a seedsmen you do what you can to select what a guy will like. In January it is all about wanting stalk strength and consistency with stress tolerance. In October it is your stuff stood great but was 15 bu under(p1197, Dk 64-35). We all have products that excel on yield but give up on agronomics. It’s up to the farmer to be truthful and educate themselves on what they really want. Most hybrid failures excluding what happened in Nebraska is wrong placement by not following seedsman’s advice and planting whatever is on the next pallet. | |
