| If you were to use the small rolls, it is easy to make a homemade stringer. We did this for a couple years until we got smart and bought an agri-drain stringer and went to the jumbo rolls. So much easier to use, I will NEVER go back to the smaller rolls and wish we had bought it when we got the ditcher.
Do yourself a favor, get a good stringer and bury all the tile you need. It will still have good value when you are finished, the job will be a lot easier.
