Ne Nebraska | yes, that is what I've been doing is each year putting out one of the large pails of pellets. I think its a pellet per inch of tree diameter. But be careful with them, I got careless and killed some trees I didn't want to. Cottonwoods really don't like them but you can't put enough on a locus or elm...after several years of putting a pail or two out every March, I'm starting to get ahead.
Other thing is I spray remedy and grazon spot spray on smaller trees in fence line- won't work on cedars though. | |
