Seems like a good question by the original poster?

Fence post diggers are a dime a dozen. They don't go deep enough, common augers people have in the corner of the shed aren't big enough.

Livestock folk that dig fencepost holes probably all have skid steer. Lot of us farmers don't have one, tho.

Putting in a building pole hole is a lot different than a small fence post. Sure seems it would be tough using the common 3-4 foot 6 inch post hole digger to get what he needs, but maybe you know better.
