I tend to agree but have been happy with the 3-speed. I was real worried when i bought the first one that it would hold up to what i had to put it through. I was worried for nothing. Actually 3-gears is nicer, the thing isn't shifting all the time. if i have a real heavy load i'll leave it in electric shift. but 99% of the time its in auto.
