What you are looking for is called an access point. Cisco, ubiquiti, etc. many companies make them. Cat five to where want to locate it. Run cat five back to router. Use the same ssid name and password, but different frequency channel. Your device will “roam” to whichever has the stronger signal.

Used cisco access points, like a 1252, on eBay are $50 and rock solid.
