Montana | I carefully certify my acreage with the FSA, each Fall and spring. My daughter is home on the ranch and she was marking the maps and doing all of the certification for me.
There is much confusion in the office, as the regular lady, who is brilliant, was home with her injured husband. My daughter called to verify some information and the woman who is County director of the FSA, said that my daughter would need power of attorney in order to discuss my certification.. I think she is mistaken as long as I sign the forms.
Perhaps there is someone who really knows. I have heard and read, that South Dakota is wonderfully farmer friendly with their FSA. Montana has a History of some very unfair activities by some FSA employees. | |
