southern MN | Dad passed away, death certificate got mixed up and delayed 3 months (boy, do I have stories.....) had to file at FSA office.
Nope, can't. The head honcho walks by, looks things over, and says in a case like this we do this and that and so and so. Walks off.
The lady (every office has -that- lady, right? I happened to get her....) looks at the papers, and says well, no, I just can't do that. It just wouldn't be right.
And so, there we were.
There was a very combersom, complicated, difficult way to sort of file, then refile later, many trips, many extra pieces of paper at $10 a copy, and we ended up at the same place as doing it as the head honcho had suggested. Everyone in the office knew me, been running dad's stuff for decades, been filing his stuff by POA for years.
It can depend on who you get, the other 4 gals in the office would have done it like the head honcho suggested.
