Subject: RE: Importing a .yld

Westport, IN
If I understand correctly part of the data bits suited for each data point will have field, load, long, lat, distance, moisture, grain flow, speed, direction....... And so on for each point, every three seconds.
Do many days running your file gets big, hence the need for a new file every day. Up to 20,000 points is possible each day. So when you import one file the software might not be able to handle it all.

I use farmwork also and it refuses to import my file. My buddy using SMS can import, but can't make a map because no base data for yield. I suspect that AG leader stores the data as a proprirtory format for space/speed saving reasons. Then software parses out for the mapping.

I know, now, there is an important data wrote to the card at the beginning and end of the day. Both tidbits are needed for a map. I'm missing the ending bit, and you are missing the beginning bits.
Good luck. I'll post back of I have any updates.
