I had a 1760 with that setup,you for sure don't want anything to do with them if you have soils that are sticky at all. The openers will roll up soil and make a mess out of the seed trench even in the highest setting.

Even if you move them off to the side all the way the rubber tire on the gauge wheel will ball up with sticky soils.
