We've had years that were too wet to get to in the fall to spray.  Normally we spray everything.  Up against the neighbors that never fall sprayed there would be a huge difference in amount of cover by spring.  Anymore, most neighbors fall spray too, so there's not much around here that goes until spring without anything on it weather permitting.
