That's one way to do it! Our lane has a small hill on either side of a creek, was getting a minor ice storm and the milk truck was due any time, so we took the manure spreader and spread a load of corn silage on the hill, driver said he was glad we did or he would have been in the creek, (had chains on the tractor and it had a hard time on the ice).
Corn is so cheap I used as antiskid...pic
