South Central South Dakota | I just got a versatile 375 tractor that we were trying to make the raven integrated autosteer work. When turning around the tractor would wander off the line up to 3 feet and then would go to the other side of the line up to a foot before eventually coming back. I've talked to raven multiple times on the phone. They said to try new software, get a different node and try that, and finally they said to get a wheel angle sensor and try that. I did all these things and it didn't matter, it still acted the same. I didn't really know what to expect from the raven (all we ever used was greenstar) but it wasn't working good enough for what we were trying to do. I finally got tired of trying to make the raven work and I put an atu in the tractor. First time in the field with the atu it was 100 times better than the raven was. Maybe I gave up too soon on the raven? |
