There was a handful of them sold in the west. I know of a couple dealers that handled them back in the 70's and 80's. The early ones were crude, the later Don 1500 a bit less so. The Niva in bshannon's picture looks good compared to the early ones, although mostly identical they were painted kind of a rusty red and most had the white venetian blind louvers on the windshield and side windows.
anybody hear of Niva combines?
