NW Washington | Redekop the combine straw chopper maker used to make a rig to catch chaff from a combine and either blow it into a cart or into a cyclone separator where it would then drop down on top of the straw coming out of the combine without a spreader so the chaff would then be picked up by the straw baler. Australians also have or had some chaff catchers they used to try is reduce the number of weed seeds getting back on the ground. | |
