Black Hawk County, IA
I don't think a hybrid "weakens" per say. Usually they get fazed out or replaced by the new and improved. I have a favorite I have planted for around 8 years. Just ordered seed last month, and had heard it would be discontinued. Nope, still available and they dropped the price again. Had it on a 110 ac field this year that did 261 at 15.8% and it was the lowest price per bag I planted. Last year the wind pushed over on some end rows, but the field was fine. I think the year got you a little more so than the hybrid. J
