Who ever said they had a yield bump? I was never told they would yield more. I planted them because I wanted to use dicamba in my burn down.
EVERY time and I mean EVERY time, when a new corn hybrid or bean variety comes out, the company does not say it is just as good as, it says it is better yielding then what it is replacing. Same way with xtend. Was told they were better. Probably all those 5 bean pods when Asgrow RR2 came out, finally showed up. They were supposed to be 8-11% better, so 60 bu beans should now be 65-67bu every average year. Not to mention the 2bu bump from seed treatment, the 2-6 bu bump from fungicide, the 2 bu bump from Ilevo. So we are now up to 71-77bu in average year. Sales gimmicks work well for all us gullible koolaid drinking farmers. | |
