Subject: RE: Hearing lots of disappointment with xtend yields

West Central MN
We had a few guys complain. Some are going no xtend next year. Gotta few happy guys. I'm going back to liberty. Xtend beans did 3-5 bu worse in the good spots. We didn't have a xtend bean that did decent on IDC, so Minnesota soybeans looked really trashy in spots because guys thought the weed control was more important than loosing 4-10 acres per quarter from iron deficiency. I got burned on about 2 acres, but my comparison strips were whole. Thinking that they wanted to put it on a bean that did best further south but OK in MN to cut cost? IDK, but I'm going to be moving away from it. Especially with not knowing if dicamba's future. just too shaky for me.
