NE Oregon | Start out feeding lower quality hay early in the season. Barley/oat hay, pasture grass (only one cut) and new seeding alfalfa that has a fair amount of lambs quarter and other weeds in it first cut. As those stacks dwindle, start blending into 1st cut alfalfa/orchardgrass and Any hold over hay from previous year. Calves get best 2nd cut free choice in bunks. Blend in some 2nd cut bales as calving starts through remainder of the season
