Fruita CO
I know where you're coming from,it's a rude awakening to realize you are the oldest living family member. One of my cousins was kind enough to point that out to me at my aunt's funeral a couple months ago...actually, I'm one aunt (by marriage) away from being the oldest in an extended family of probably close to 100 people. Not a position I've campaigned for or looked forward to, but I guess it beats the alternative...
I have started writing (typing) things I remember about my life & childhood that no one else on this earth knows now. Somehow just seems wrong to let it die with me...or is that just egotistical? I dunno.
I never met your friend Ed Winkle in person, but considered him a friend, he was very well-liked & respected on here.
