I had some 60-88 this year and the top end is pretty impressive. I wasn't super happy w/the way it handled water logged soils so not sure of the fit here. Also, GLS came in on it pretty good too. It takes forever to pollinate but a lot like 63-55 where it can really flex ear length. My recs from what I've seen is if the soil is somewhat drained or rolling it will be fine and spray it w/a fungicide. Worth what you paid for it. I haven't had 64-35 but I think it is known for plant health. I think you sacrifice yield w/it from what I've heard. 1197 is good corn. Probably a corn you could just plant the whole farm to and not worry about. |
