Mather, Manitoba | Yes. I keep all good mechanics within this area on the happy list. Pay them in cases of beer or whatever they want as a bonus. (Help them drink the beer of course) I got a lot of stuff fixed for free because of it. If they can't make it out, I can shoot them a text and they'll usually respond promptly.
One guy decided to quit his job at local shop and be a farmer/mechanic. Put a shop up on the family farm. Pulls wrenches when not in field. I gave him a hand tinning the inside of his shop.
