Took the words out of my mouth!  How can lining up 4 pins be simpler than lining up a six-splined shaft that doesn't care which spline is goes into?  I know some of the collars are a pain but they're not THAT difficult and definitely not worth spending money on working around.  My only issue with a pto is a dang CV line is so dang heavy, but these plates don't help that.  I've learned a rubber tarp strap between the lift arms makes a cv shaft much easier to hold in place while pushing it onto the tractor shaft.
