Eastern Idaho
Interesting. I too just came across this theory this summer. I plan to try some Agri-Cal from Agrigro on some bindweed patches next summer. In our very dry climate, and rolling hills, I fight canadian thistles more on the ridge tops, and bindweed in the bottoms. I've been applying extra phos on the ridges, and it seems to be helping with the thistles, so I'm willing to try some calcium in the bottoms to see what happens with the bindweed. I plan to spot spray some patches and broadcast apply part of another field that I'll mix and spray the Agri-Cal with a chitosan product I use anyway.
