Also, are you irrigating? Depending, that could be the source your salinity increase...Summer fallow like in south of Lethbridge? That would help wash salts down.... They irrigate with snow melt down in southern California on ground, but that only works if you have water that doesn't have too high of dissolved salts (or other cations).
