I can't say. But the people who are selling the stuff will definitely say it will lower salinity. Before you break open the wallet, I would buy a gallon of the stuff and do some small spot trials first. I'm really wary of the claims. Right or wrong. And I really could be wrong and the stuff is the next great thing..........
