Have it ekotuned. Much safer on the motor. Does not boost the rail pressure.
Ekotune is no safer than a Steinbauer. It's a custom tune vs a box tune. Steinbauer changes injector duration, it doesn't change timing or rail pressure.
There's zero refinement to a Steinbauer no way around it. There's nothing that beats a true custom made tune for the exact application. Not to mention 99% of the time you will pay more for a Steinbauer then a custom made tune. It all just comes down to how skilled the tuner you work with is.
