That theory is ok as long as you are willing to live in isolation......

but as soon as you choose to live with neighbors, in organized society, there has to be a method to correct for the oops that are bound to happen in that organized society........or, if there is no method, then one automatically chooses to "...live by the gun"........total anarchy.

Therefore......the concept of "damages" was established.

Now.........prove "damages" to your picturesque field of perfection.

Otherwise.......absent proving and living with the concept of damages........one has automatically chosen to live with less than perfection, as they define it.

In order for civilized society to continue.......there has to be rules........and bottom-line compensation for damages..........and therefore the first step is proving amount of damages.
