Hey, how bout this? Stop complaining about it! Apparently, there's not much you can do about it. Just like too much rain, too much heat, etc.. Why not focus on protecting yourself next year? There are many ways to do so. Seems a lot on here want to bitch and complain when their crops don't "look" perfect. I understand it's an issue, but AT LEAST wait till you harvest to calculate the amount of damage. I'm not saying (at all) that it's nothing, my guess is the "mountain out of a molehill" situation. After harvest and yields are in is the time to "settle up" with insurance, neighbor, or neighbors insurance. Not now, and it hasn't been for the last 4 months.
While it is true no settlements will be made until after harvest . the prudent thing to do is document everything, including field inspections by anyone who will do them.Once harvest is complete the excuses will be coming fast and furious.. One slip up along the way and any claim will be tossed. get your field assessments,pictures, anything that may help you.. You may not need them and harvest will be great. I hope so. |
