Understood but if that product still eventually dries out and leaks it seems insufficient.

Many have posted about and complained about this issue in the past. Hopefully the non hardening sealant will last and not leak.

How can we let the manufacturers know that perhaps they ought to be exploring other options on these fittings like a different sealant or style of fitting less prone to leak down over time ?
