NW Iowa
I have straightened them with two heavy ratchet straps. Pull back toward the top structural beam. Usually there is just enough room to slip a strap between the top of the sheet metal and the beam. You need two straps because when you release one you need the other strap there to keep the reel pipe from flying ahead. Pull back with the two straps till you think you are pulled back enough, then measure from the pipe to the rear of the head for reference. Let it go back till the straps are loose and try it out. If you need to pull again you have your previous measurement to go by to know how much farther to pull. It takes time but it will work. It's been awhile since I did it. I forget is I had to tie the reel lift arms down.
