I think you will be disappointed with the results of a phone app. It will get you in the right field...but it won't take you back to the tile line. A Garmin-type device would be a little better. But do yourself a favor and use a quality GPS receiver, even if you have to borrow a neighbor's.
I agree. I've not had much luck marking with my phone and coming back within 15 ft or so. However, I marked some tile in google earth that showed after a big rain event and exported to Dropbox. I can load the lines from Dropbox to google earth on my phone and be dead on. Don't ask me how that works so much better. Just glad it does. |
