Dragline or tanks?
We have run our dragline with chisel plow shanks with 12" sweeps in cover crop before. Tore it a little but next spring really couldn't tell we were in there. This was high rate fairy manure driving less that 2 mph so the sweeps didn't move much dirt.

I always wondered, is unicorn manure or fairy manure better? It's really hard to find much data out there.*

Me, I really would like the benifits of manure and would mildly tear up a cover crop in a heartbeat to get the manure, wouldn't bother me a bit. And here a poor fall application is way, way better then trying a spring application in our wet clayish soils, so going now would be by far the best timing.

*i hope you understand my terrible sense of humor, my spelling and typing skills are even worse than my humor so I understand you have dairy manure. For some reason I couldn't help laughing and putting this pointless post up.
