Well, I'm in a car heading back from MI from seeing my new niece ... but as I recall, you put the receiver (I have a 6500) on the tractor cab harness. Go to the home screen, hit the big wrench, pick GPS receiver from the bottom 4 tabs of the screen, and then hit a little wrench or top tab to go to GPS settings, and check whichever sentences need checked. There are about 8, I think you need the three sentences mentioned above.
