Sort of depends what you want to do and how many units you need to replace.

Too costly here to update a bunch of old radios (mostly obsolete 2 post style which are harder to find) and am guessing you want to play music from a phone ? and play via Bluetooth.

You might consider FM transmitters and USB sticks. Many also have input socket that will accept feed from MP3 player, I pods, phones etc. The FM transmitter takes the input music and broadcasts it via FM frequency to a selectable FM station that is unused in your area. Your current radio picks this signal up and plays it. It's not symphonic pure clear sound but most cannot tell that much differences a lot has to do with the bit rate the MP3 is ripped at. They are relatively cheap compared to several new radios can be easily moved to different vehicles and work with all existing radios. Other nice thing is you can download podcasts interviews and discussions to flash drive and listen to those as well. Regular radio is obsolete around here now and too cheap to use Sirius.

This way I get to listen to exactly what I want to hear.  Music and songs that hold great memories and remind me of better times.

Couple previous threads with a few revisions.

Still liking the Sain Sonic transmitters but not quite as powerful as earlier VR3. Not a big deal in vehicles but weaker signal from vehicle to shop radio.

On the hand held MP3 player to plug into headphones ? Stay away from the Coby ones in my posts they are junk only last a few months before they turn into a brick and will not power up.

For hearing protection my next move will be to Bluetooth enabled 3M Worktunes and a Bluetooth enabled MP3 player to get rid of the annoying connecting wire that is dangerous and always snagging on stuff.
