I assume I have to stay with DDR2 to keep the pin number the same?
I also assume I also have to stay with 800mhz?
Not as many upgrade options for DDR2 as DDR3.
I found 2x8gb DDR2 at new egg for $238. Rather pricey. I suppose I'll stick with 2x4gb or 2x2gb to keep price down.
It's an old Compaq CQ-60 laptop I want to keep around.
I had excellent turnaround of a Dell Latitude upgrading ram and replacing the hard drive with a SSD. Changed it from unusable to nearly as fast as the desktop. | |
