It appears your question has been answered, but I have another. A line of thunderstorms is approaching your farm from the Northwest at 30 mph with a rainfall rate of 1 in./h. A small but intense thunderstorm cell is approaching your farm from the Southwest at 20 mph with a rainfall rate of 2 in./h. How much rain will you get?

Answer: If it is a wet spring you will get 3.84".
If it is a dry summer the line of thunderstorms will split and the heavy cell will collapse and you will get 0.18".
