Our first granddaughter was pinned last night as an LVN. As a mother with 3 kids and a full time job she enrolled as a full time student nurse. The nursing home where she was working worked with her to schedule her job around the school hours. As we attended the pinning last night we were all surprised when, at the start of the ceremony, she was called to the front and awarded a scholarship to continue her education and earn her RN degree.
