Subject: Oil pipe posts and concrete question

Nw Iowa
I'm using 9 ft. 2 7/8 oil pipe for posts. We have been using a 9" auger and drilling a 2-3 ft hole. We have been pounding the pipe in approximately 2 ft then using concrete on the top 2-3 ft. A neighbor stopped by and asked if I was worried that the frost would "jack" the pipe out of the ground since we aren't using concrete the whole 4 ft down the post hole. I guess I never thought about that and now I'm a little concerned since this project has been a lot of work and I don't want a mess in the future......will I have a problem? I'm estimating most of them are in concrete at least 2.5 ft. from the top down. I'm welding the continuous panels to the pipe using the clips that are provided. If the frost does start raising some of my pipe out it's going to look ugly in the future.........should I be worried or will I be good? Thanks. Western / Nw Iowa winters.
