I was prescribed a patch when we got in an accident. If I used my insurance the cost was $150. In the waiting room of the doctors office I picked up a card from GoodRx. It's supposed to get your medication cheaper. I've no idea how it works. But, at a Walgreens I gave it a try and the $150 cost using my insurance became $73. I've not received any communication from anybody regarding GoodRx or Walgreens and that was back in April. You can go online to https://www.goodrx.com/ and type in your prescription near your location and it will show you the cost at several different pharmacies. I noticed that it defaults to 30 tabs I think but you can change the quantity. As I said I don't know how or why it works but it did and I haven't seen any downside. Maybe it will help somebody. |
