Mine has a "T" where lots of serial cables are connected. Would you consider a foot switch to engage the RTK? I have a keypad that is just HUGE and hard to use, hard to find a place for it in the cab. It needs its own RAM mount!
My foot switch works best if you turn it around backwards. Otherwise, I have to roll my foot way forward to engage.
