Loren, you press "tare" on the scalehead before you begin to unload. That's always been a standard procedure of ours I guess. Then you unload and the scale tells you how much you've unloaded in a negative amount. Then you press the "print" button, the scale sends the data out, and automatically goes back to showing how much is left on the cart.

Like I said, before we ever had a printer or laptop, we always used this process, though when you were finished unloading you pressed "net/gross" instead of "print".
