Mid MO | Last year had a heifer calve and 3 days later the switch fell off her tail. She was on cool season mixed pasture with no fescue. I attributed it to stress. Idk she was in good shape and no calving problems. 1/2 beefmaster 1/2 hereford. She was the last heif of the bunch to calve. Hasn't regrown.
Bought a few older cows from a neighbor. His ground is different and has more issues with fescue than i do. Those girls' tail aren't over 18 in long and no suggestion of a switch. They look docked. | |
