I know I don't live in the corn belt but here, after going throu four years of sub par snow pack we have been irrigating our crops every 7 to 10 days, almost unheard of.  crops look good, what corn we do have is better then Iv ever seen it, and using a lot less fertiziler then we ever have.  Amazing what timely irrigation does for crops. working on 3rd crop hay now and will probley get 5 if things stay the way they are now...
