Subject: RE: Hard starting GM 6.0

Pilot Grove, Missouri
If it runs fine other than long crank time and no check engine light on, it is most likely the check valve in the fuel pump. If the pressure regulator was leaking it would most likely set a rich exhaust code. Put a pressure gauge on and see how long it takes after shutdown for fuel pressure to bleed off. If the pressure regulator were leaking it would act flooded and run rough after finally starting also. Patrick
