| Do you smell gas around the vehicle when it is sitting after it has been shut off? There is a charcoal filter for the gas tank to vent through and it gets plugged up with dirt and the gas tank will not vent. Then the tank sucks in when the vehicle is running. When the vehicle is shut off the tank will expand and suck the gas out of the line.
Pay attention, if it starts hard after a long drive. Or if it starts easier after a short drive. You could do a series of starts while just sitting and not letting the motor run very long. | |
