East Central, IA | Get a Schulte. By far the best cutter out there. I have owned or used Rhino, Batwing, Deere, and Woods. I have an Schulte XH1500 that is a 2000 model. Only thing I've ever done is replace blades and one set of slip clutches. So far, it hasn't given me any excuse at all to replace it and I mow ditches, waterways, pasture hillsides, pond dams, CRP with 3-4 inch trees, etc. If you buy one, get the Bondioli driveline - not the Weasler. I think the XH1500s come standard with the Bondioli though... | |
