St.Clair Co. IL. | I have some watermelons getting ripe, in the yrs. past I would check the closest little curl from the stem with the melon on, found a few with the curl starting to dry, but it sounded hollow like it was ripe, picked it and cut it open, it is CLOSE to being ripe but not quit. also once the curl starts to dry about how much longer?
red on the inside but not real sweet, so my question is go by the dried up curl, or thump em?
Thanks
